About this role
Section: About the Role Palmora Nigeria Limited, a plastic recycling factory, is seeking a reliable and experienced Factory Driver to transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, personnel and other company materials while ensuring the safe and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Section: Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport raw materials, finished products, equipment and personnel.
- Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured and delivered.
- Assist with loading and offloading where required.
- Maintain trip sheets, delivery records, fuel records and vehicle logbooks.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults promptly.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, safe and operational.
- Submit delivery notes, waybills and other required documentation.
- Comply with traffic laws, company policies and safety procedures.
- Support Logistics, Procurement, Maintenance and Production teams with transportation needs.
- Report accidents, damages, shortages and delivery issues immediately.
- Perform local and interstate trips when required.
Section: Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; OND is an advantage.
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional driving experience.
- Experience driving trucks, vans, pickups or commercial vehicles is an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, recycling, logistics, FMCG or industrial environments is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Lagos, Ogun State and surrounding industrial areas.
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Ability to use GPS/navigation applications.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading.
- Responsible, punctual, trustworthy and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours when required.
