Job title: Facilities Technician

About the Role Join Ontic as a Facilities Technician based in Creedmoor, NC. You’ll be responsible for providing efficient, cost-effective maintenance and facilities support for the building and surrounding areas, while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and supporting visits from licensor customers as needed. The role reports to the Facilities Supervisor and may involve on-call duties.

What You'll Do

• Work with the Facility Supervisor to provide an efficient, responsive, and cost-effective facilities support service.
• Plan, design and perform construction projects as delegated by the Facilities Manager.
• Report non-conformance to SLA measures to the Facilities Supervisor.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of property (painting, grounds/car park maintenance, gritting, rubbish clearance, safety, general site maintenance).
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance programs of equipment including servicing; provide technical performance of equipment as required; training/support provided where applicable.
• Ensure maintenance/servicing records are maintained in the PPM system.
• Assist in fire, evacuation, and emergency procedures.
• Attend site on-call duties as requested by the Facilities Manager; may support a call-out team.
• Respond to emergencies or urgent issues in line with company procedures (e.g., Business Continuity Plan).
• Drive continuous improvement in operations, reduce turnaround times in facilities repair and TPM, and work cooperatively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize workload in changing conditions.
• Ensure adherence to environmental procedures and reflect changes in legislation in facilities procedures.

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties and respond to emergencies.
• Strong organizational skills with focus on maintaining maintenance records and documentation (PPM).
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Nice to Have

• Experience with construction planning and on-site project support.
