Facilities Technician
About this role
GENERAL PURPOSE
Applications are being accepted for a Facilities Technician at Northwest State Community College. The primary responsibilities include general maintenance work, as needed. Perform groundskeeping, landscaping, snow removal, and custodial project work and custodial equipment maintenance.
Normal Weekly Hours: 40 for 12 months per year. Hours vary between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Days/hours will vary due to operational situations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general building and maintenance activities as needed, including painting, staining, light carpentry, prep work, and light maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Verify and keep records of incoming shipments and prepare for delivery. Compare identifying information and counts to ensure the accuracy of orders received and shipped.
