Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Facility Technician II (Operations Coordinator) to join our growing team!

This is an on-site position, five days per week, at our Vancouver office located at 200 Granville St.

As our Facility Technician II (Operations Coordinator), you will play an important role in keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring that employees receive responsive, high-quality support. Your organization, resourcefulness, and service mindset will help create a workplace where people can do their best work.

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day office and workplace needs, responding to requests with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Coordinate and provide support for employee relocation and accommodation requests.
  • Assist with the planning and organization of rooms, workspaces, and shared areas based on business and employee needs.
  • Support the relocation of personnel and help ensure workspace transitions are well organized and completed smoothly.
  • Take ownership of the office environment by conducting preventive follow-up on facilities, installations, and repairs required for the site to operate effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and service providers to follow up on maintenance needs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Make minor changes to the physical layout of workstations and office areas.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate furniture inventory for the warehouse.
  • Complete administrative and operational tasks in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and providing occasional coaching and development support to colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workplace processes, service levels, and the overall employee experience.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What you will bring:

  • College diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of commonly used software including Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
  • Experience in supervising the execution of development work.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good team spirit.
  • Can work under pressure and with short delivery times.
  • Can work with manual labor.
  • No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
