About the Role Volt is hiring a Facilities Tech in Fremont, CA to perform routine maintenance and repairs on various properties and support other trades on more complex projects. You will work to keep facilities up and running, including CCTV, network connections, lighting, furniture, and cable installations, while adhering to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime as needed. What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on properties (CCTV cameras, network connections, network cabling, lighting, furniture and equipment, pulling cables)
- Safely operate equipment such as a forklift or lift
- Assist other tradespeople with electrical wiring, HVAC installation, plumbing or carpentry
- Report major issues or damages requiring professional intervention
- Adapt to a fast-moving environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations What We're Looking For
- Good knowledge of different tools and equipment; basic skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to read and follow instructions and blueprints
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Good communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have
- Experience with CCTV maintenance and network cabling
- Familiarity with basic building maintenance and repairs Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
