Job title: Facilities Planning Manager
Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Facilities Planning Manager to join our team in Bethesda, MD, supporting NIH. This role leads planning, design review, and execution of assigned projects, ensuring progress, cost control, and alignment with user objectives. The position requires on-site participation and close collaboration with government representatives, design firms, and the Senior Project Officer as a COR.
What You'll Do
- Plan, design review, and execution of assigned projects.
- Monitor progress and schedules; take action to avoid delays.
- Monitor schedule and cost to prevent overruns or claims.
- Establish reporting to notify government representative of deviations from budget or schedule.
- Plan and develop requirements, specifications, procedures and directives necessary for carrying out projects.
- Attend project meetings and maintain an organized management approach.
- Provide positive and productive coordination to achieve target outcomes.
- Perform on-site walks and inspections to monitor project execution.
- Coordinate designs and studies, including responses by design firms to permit review comments and review of plans to confirm that user objectives are being maintained.
- Provide support to Senior Project Officer who is a Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) on the development of scopes of work, independent government estimates, and technical evaluations of proposals.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Five (5) years of specialized experience would be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $42.23 for up to 40 hours per week (exempt).
