Facilities Manager
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day building operations and support a well-maintained commercial environment in Raleigh, North Carolina. This Contract position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can coordinate vendors, monitor maintenance activity, and help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and efficient. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, practical knowledge of property operations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities

Direct daily facility operations to maintain clean, safe, and fully functional commercial properties.

Conduct routine building walkthroughs and inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and repair priorities.

Coordinate service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure work is completed on schedule and to expected standards.

Track preventive maintenance tasks, service requests, and repair activity through a computerized maintenance management system.

Support budgeting and cost control efforts by monitoring facility expenses and reviewing vendor performance.

Respond to operational issues quickly and arrange appropriate corrective action to minimize disruption to occupants.

Maintain records related to maintenance activity, inspections, compliance items, and vendor services.

Assist with property-related projects, including space readiness, equipment upkeep, and other site improvement initiatives.

Experience managing facility operations within a commercial property or similar environment.

Working knowledge of facility inspections, building systems, and general maintenance coordination.

Ability to oversee vendors and service partners while maintaining quality and timeliness expectations.

Proficiency using computerized maintenance management systems to document and monitor work activity.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Familiarity with facilities coordination practices, including preventive maintenance scheduling and issue resolution.

Ability to identify operational risks and support a safe, compliant workplace environment.
