About the Role Seasonal/Part-Time Facilities - Housekeeping role with City Museum's Park Services team. The role supports the daily cleaning and upkeep of museum facilities and assists guests with information and directions. What You'll Do
- Regularly clean and clear tables, chairs, walkways, windows, floors, restrooms and walls
- Maintain the appearance of facilities and grounds
- Trash collection and disposal; assist with special clean up situations
- Properly use all safety equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and staff
- Provide superior guest service and assist customers with questions about facility layout and amenities
- Follow park policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks indoors and outdoors; lift up to 45+ lbs; work varied hours including evenings/weekends/holidays; communicate with the public
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff; be attentive and work well with others; energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work in extreme weather with hydration and sun protection; must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical requirements: sit, stand or walk for extended periods; lift/carry/move items up to 45 pounds; ability to climb stairs Compensation & Benefits
