We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Training Center Facility Coordinator to maintain a safe, clean, organized, and fully operational Dallas Training Center. This role is responsible for facility maintenance and upkeep, training-equipment logistics and inventory, vendor coordination, health, safety, and environmental compliance, and sustaining a 5S culture. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, proactive problem solver who can balance daily operational needs with preventive maintenance, equipment readiness, compliance documentation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facility-maintenance plan, including preventive-maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the training center to identify and address maintenance issues, helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment for staff, learners, and visitors.

  • Coordinate external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Support the day-to-day operational readiness of training rooms, labs, storage areas, and shared spaces.

  • Manage the logistics of training-equipment inventory, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and availability.

  • Conduct regular equipment-inventory audits to maintain accuracy and ensure equipment is available for training purposes.

  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize disruptions to training activities.

  • Maintain organized equipment-storage practices and clear inventory records.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments, safety protocols, and staff training as needed.

  • Develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.

  • Promote a safe work environment for employees, instructors, learners, contractors, and visitors.

  • Implement and maintain 5S—Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain—to support a clean, organized, efficient training environment.

  • Train and educate staff on 5S principles and encourage active participation in maintaining a 5S culture.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to facility maintenance, training-equipment logistics, and 5S.

  • Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in facility and equipment maintenance, logistics or inventory management, and health, safety, and environmental compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.

  • Familiarity with 5S and experience implementing and sustaining workplace-organization initiatives.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.

  • Proficiency using software and systems for maintenance tracking, inventory management, and documentation.

  • Ability to work in person at the Dallas Training Center on a daily basis.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a training center, technical lab, industrial facility, learning environment, or similar equipment-intensive operation.
