Job title: Facilities Engineer
Johnson Controls is seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our manufacturing facility and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems while partnering with production, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support current operations and future growth.
What You'll Do
- Own the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, process gasses, waste management, fire protection, and building infrastructure.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize facility uptime and safety.
- Lead facility improvement, expansion, and capital projects from planning through execution.
- Manage contractors.
What We're Looking For
- You are a seasoned manufacturing professional with strong technical knowledge of facility systems with project and vendor management experience.
- You will play a key role in planning facility upgrades, supporting equipment installations, and ensuring our infrastructure can meet the evolving needs of manufacturing.
- This role requires a high degree of technical ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- This position generally requires a commitment of 5 days onsite per week.
