About the Role As a Facilities Engineer specializing in instrumentation and controls, you will help ensure Intel's buildings and infrastructure operate seamlessly, supporting Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives. This is a 3-year contract with potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. What You'll Do

  • Provide Facilities engineering support to factory customers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.
  • Own safety within area of influence.
  • Ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions, own system documentation and maintenance strategy.
  • Provide direct support of troubleshooting efforts for new and existing systems, including but not limited to end-of-life systems.
  • Develop industrial instrumentation and automation systems required for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and programming of existing analytical instrumentation for labs, manufacturing, and facilities systems.
  • Designs and develops new control systems and tests and maintains and modifies existing systems.
  • Continuous maintenance and upkeep of industrial automation systems is critical.
  • Analyzes data and presents findings in written reports and provides advice and consultancy support.
  • Manages projects within cost and time constrained environments and manages day-to-day operations associated with instrumentation and controls.
  • Assists in purchasing equipment, writing computer software and test procedures.
  • Conducts troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, develops engineering solutions to address and rectify issues, and manages long-term equipment improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For
