About this role
About the Role Support the Facilities Engineering department by performing a variety of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tasks, focusing on corrective, scheduled, and preventative maintenance of utility equipment. This role includes responding to service tickets and work requests, and performing facility-related preventive maintenance on systems such as air compressors, HVAC, piping, chillers, cooling towers, and generators. What You'll Do
- Visually inspect utility equipment and facility issues to locate potential malfunctions, wear, misalignment, defective parts, or deterioration.
- Dismantle machines and equipment to access problem areas, determine issues, and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools, following blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals.
- Repair and maintain equipment and systems as part of preventive maintenance activities and responsive service tasks.
