Job title: Facilities Engineer
Facilities Engineer responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of facilities and equipment. The role also coordinates with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria, prepare layouts and detail drawings, and manages bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
What You'll Do
- Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
- Schedules and coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
- Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
- Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
What We're Looking For
- AutoCAD experience; familiarity with building and fire codes; previous experience with Siemens building software is desirable.
- Engineering degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical).
- Previous experience with large chilled water systems and air conditioning systems.
- Prefer 5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering.
