Job title: Face-2-Face Trainer

About the Role Abbott's Diagnostics team seeks a per-diem Face-2-Face Trainer to provide home-based training for Acelis Connected Health’s customers. The trainer delivers finger stick blood collection guidance, PT/INR equipment use and reporting, and maintains professional communication while working in customers' homes across specified locales.

What You'll Do

  • Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers
  • Travel to customers' homes within the trainer's geographic area
  • Demonstrate and instruct proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
  • Explain test reporting options
  • Present yourself professionally
  • Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically
  • Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health
  • Use secure encrypted email for communications involving PHI
  • Maintain reliable transportation

What We're Looking For

  • Clinical experience; current Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Direct exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare preferred
  • Health education training experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds without assistance
  • Completion of assigned educational prerequisites; background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Computer and smart device proficiency; own laptop/desktop and printer
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic websites/apps on smart devices
  • Travel at least 100 miles roundtrip
  • Florida location requires an additional background step

Nice to Have

  • Health education training experience (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay: $22.45 – $44.85 per hour (USD)
  • Per-diem role; travel to customer homes
