Fabrication Associate

Volt is immediately hiring Fabrication Associate in Halethorpe, MD

As a Fabrication Associate, you will:

• Be comfortable with operating pipe fabrication and grooving machines.
• Be comfortable with inspecting welds and checking pipes for leaks.
• Be comfortable with measuring, cutting, threading, and beveling pipes.
• Be comfortable with moving, stacking, and bundling pipes safely.
• Be comfortable with operating forklifts and other shop equipment.
• Be comfortable with following safety procedures and work instructions.
• Be comfortable with maintaining a clean and organized work area.

This is a full time, Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or pipe fabrication.
• Read measurements and use basic math skills.
• Steel-toe boots are required.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift operating experience.
• Experience with pipe cutting, threading, or grooving equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices.
• Experience performing quality inspections on fabricated products.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
