About this role

About the Role EY’s FAAS Senior helps finance leaders interpret and optimize complex financial data and accounting processes. You’ll support acquisitions, divestitures, process optimization, digitization, and accounting standard implementations for clients across Canada, leveraging technology to create forward-looking insights and value. What You'll Do

  • Identify business needs, develop solutions tailored to client needs, and assess the Finance function and performance of operations diagnostics to optimize financial processes
  • Provide tailored training, financial and business modeling, and prepare deliverables aligned with client needs
  • Promote an innovative, team-oriented environment and build productive relationships with client management
  • Understand client industry, key performance drivers, and developments; stay informed of economic trends affecting clients
  • Advise on process digitization and use of technology to enhance service delivery; support acquisitions/divestitures and accounting standard implementations
  • Manage multiple engagements with strong project management and leadership to meet deadlines What We're Looking For
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce, business administration, or data analysis/management
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in financial accounting/audit, financial/business analysis, or process optimization/documentation
  • Experience with MS Office, process documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart), financial/data modeling, and data analytics (e.g., Python)
  • Excellent spoken and written English; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines; strong project management and leadership abilities
  • Professional accounting designation such as CPA or equivalent is ideal; French language skills are an asset; highly adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Nice to Have
