The position

We are seeking fundraisers to strengthen our fundraising team at Médecins Sans Frontières Schweiz. As a fundraiser you are responsible for collecting donations to support our humanitarian projects worldwide.

You will work closely with our communications team to plan and execute effective fundraising campaigns. You will also be responsible for raising public awareness of MSF's humanitarian causes and acquiring new donors.

To be successful in this role, you should be a passionate communicator who is committed to humanitarian causes. You should also be able to work independently and in a team and be comfortable working outdoors and meeting people from diverse backgrounds.

• Collect donations to support MSF's humanitarian projects.
• Run effective fundraising campaigns.
• Raise public awareness of MSF's humanitarian causes.
• Acquire new donors.

Education

• Preferably: retail salesperson
• no prerequisite

Experience

• Experience in sales, customer service or promotions

• Experience as a fundraiser (Street Talker, Fundraiser) is an advantage

• Technical skills

• Fixed-term contract depending on campaign duration

• Gross monthly salary for a 100% position: CHF 5'502.-
