About this role

About the Role The successful candidate will join Ludham Primary School and nursery as an EYFS teacher part-time (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week). The role is in a mixed EYFS class, primarily a Reception year class, within the Hartismere Family of Schools. The teacher will contribute to high-quality teaching, a vibrant curriculum and a supportive, values-led team. What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on early reading and phonics where possible
  • Enable effective use of resources and maintain high standards for pupil learning and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in high-quality CPD
  • Contribute to outdoor learning initiatives and the school’s Forest School provision
  • Build rapport with pupils, families and carers, and contribute to a positive school culture What We're Looking For
  • An exemplary classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners and all pupil groups
  • Knowledgeable of the Early Years Framework, National Curriculum and assessment arrangements
  • Child-centred and committed to the ethos of the school
  • A teacher who inspires all children to learn through a creative, irresistible curriculum
  • Specialist training in delivering early reading and Read Write Inc. phonics is desirable but not essential Nice to Have
  • Desirable but not essential: experience or interest in Read Write Inc. phonics Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) 1–6
  • Permanent Part-Time role (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week)
