Extrusion Technician (Electrical) - PVC

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician (Electrical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical systems on extrusion production lines.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with PVC extrusion machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on PVC extrusion machines.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
- Support extrusion machine setup, calibration, and production operations.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend solutions to recurring faults.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
- Support production targets through efficient equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- OND/HND or Trade Test in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with PVC extrusion machines.
- Knowledge of PPR/plastic extrusion equipment is an added advantage.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
