Job title: Extruder Operator
About the Role The Extruder Operator reports to the Plant Superintendent and works well with others and independently, performing a skilled level of work applying compounded rubber stock to customer rolls via extrusion. This role is based in Concord, NH and supports ANDRITZ's manufacturing operations within the pulp & paper service area.
What You'll Do
- Safely and efficiently operate roll rotating equipment.
- Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
- Accurately weigh raw materials for blending using scales.
- Follow written mixing instructions.
- Complete paperwork to document process variables.
- Learn to operate new equipment when upgraded.
- Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
- Perform other assignments as directed by production supervision.
- Perform maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or directed by supervision.
- Be willing and able to perform all tasks with or without supervision.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: On the job training will be provided. Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted.
