Job title: Export Supervisor
About the Role Manage and operate the export department to ensure the movement of freight out of the country via Air & Ocean in compliance with policy, procedures, and applicable laws. Lead and develop the export team, supervise end-to-end Air Freight Export processes, and act as the escalation contact for customers' shipments while driving KPIs and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Manage and develop efficient and effective workflow to maximize department productivity.
- Identify problems and implement solutions; use reports to quantify and prioritize workload.
- Communicate with export authorities, customers, and suppliers across relevant countries to ensure compliant, efficient operations.
- Initiate and implement change to improve organizational effectiveness; ensure staff have necessary training and resources.
- Oversee and perform supervisory tasks: assign work, set deadlines, review performance; guide end-to-end Air Freight Export process.
- Serve as escalation contact for customers' export shipments; manage financial aspects and drive KPIs to ensure satisfaction.
- Represent the company in relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, etc.
- Hire, coach, train, and develop subordinate staff; foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with organization policies and performance programs.
What We're Looking For

- Understanding of regulatory compliance with export rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years Air/Ocean export experience in a freight forwarding environment; 2+ years supervising and developing staff.
- Strong customer service skills and outgoing personality.
- Cargowise experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding Export Compliance Regulations; working knowledge of standard PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual pay range: USD 70,000 - 80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
