About the Role
We have a current opening for a Export Sales and are actively reviewing applications.
The Export Sales Director will oversee Ferrero’s growth ambition for the Caribbean markets by leading the Team to execute a strategic plan that will drive Ferrero’s presence with clear growth objectives by market and measurable KPI’s.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Operational Plan: Responsible for the preparation of the area strategic plan and transform it into a Joint Business Plan (JBP) for each market to deliver sales volumes and other objectives set for the Export Business.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and deliver an effective JBP plan for each market that ties into the Export volume objective and build Ferrero presence in the market through the implementation of trade programs that are supported by A&P to begin to build Brand
- Forecast: Take the lead with Demand Planning to provide visibility of inventory needs through accurate forecasts by market to ensure that best before date of inventory meet distributors requirements.
- Trade Promo budget management: Accountable for the total trade promo budget; Ensure spending is aligned with the JBP for each of the markets. Provide Finance with monthly accruals based on executed trade programs.
- Internal Sales Team: Supervise the Sales team with weekly touch points to ensure business is running according to plan in each market and that opportunities and risks are reviewed/discussed. Monthly review to measure achievement of KPI’s. in each of the Tier 2 and 3 markets.
- Distributor Management: Engagement and management of distributor relationships at the most Senior stakeholder levels.
- Available to Train distributors and their sales teams about Ferrero products and our best practices and to take part in distributors’ sales meetings; a minimum of one time per year.
- Utilization of Distributor’s Team: Partner with distributors team to create profitable, brand building, category-driving business plans. Lean on distributor for category information and account expectations allowing for better chance of success.
- A&P Support: Work with Export Marketing/Trade Marketing to align on support programs needed. Alignment of: Market / Brands (skus)/ type of support / timing.
- Export Order Coordination Support the distributor and the SCI Team that orders contain the correct information (code numbers) pricing /allowances).
- Revenue & Profitability Management Monitor monthly results to ensure trade spend is within budget. Recommend corrective actions when targets are not being met.
- Distributor Sales Meeting: Monthly Score Card meeting to review sales results and agree upon KPI achievement status.
- Market visits Tier 1 Markets: every month. Tier 2: Every Qtr. Tier 3 Dist. 2x Yr.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Sales, People management, Negotiation skills, Leadership, Space & Category Management, Training skills, Excel, PowerPoint
- 4-7 years of experience

The base compensation range for this position is $88,000.00 - $117,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
