About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export, Fleet & Logistics Operations Lead to provide strategic oversight of export/import logistics, fleet management, nationwide distribution, raw material movement, and travel operations.

The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and seamless supply chain execution across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead export and import operations, including order processing, customs clearance, documentation, and shipment tracking.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders and shipping agents to secure competitive rates and service levels.
• Develop strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee nationwide fleet operations, maintenance, asset utilization, budgets, route optimization, and performance.
• Ensure fleet, logistics, safety, and environmental compliance while leading logistics teams and capability development.
• Develop and oversee nationwide distribution strategies, SLAs, logistics KPIs, reverse logistics, and third-party logistics partnerships.
• Manage logistics budgets, risk strategies, and the financial impact of logistics initiatives.
• Oversee business travel arrangements, policies, budgets, and compliance.
• Coordinate interstate and cross-border movement of raw materials in line with production schedules.
• Evaluate and manage logistics partners while ensuring safe and compliant material handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in logistics, fleet management, export operations, and supply chain management.
• Proven experience managing export documentation and international shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian and international trade regulations.
• Experience in fleet management, route optimization, and transportation planning.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as Odoo.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Fleet Management, or Project Management is an added advantage.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
