Job Description

We are looking for an Export Commercial Officer to manage export commercial processes, coordinate bookings with logistics and operations, support customers with required documentation, and monitor shipments from origin to destination. The role contributes to the implementation of commercial best practices and effective export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the resources required to implement commercial and market best practices.
• Assess market conditions and competitor activity.
• Ensure the processing of all export documentation.
• Collect customer requests and prepare transport quotations for different destinations.
• Coordinate export bookings with logistics and operations teams.
• Provide customers with the required documentation support.
• Follow customer bookings from origin to destination.
• Ensure local charges are invoiced and confirm payment.
• Inform operations and the terminal about containers authorized to enter, supporting space planning.
• Monitor containers and vessels and issue release orders.
• Submit the cargo manifest within the required operational deadline.
• Perform other duties related to the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed secondary education or equivalent knowledge.

• Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, or more than 5 years in an assistant-level role.

• User-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, with complementary intermediate Microsoft Office training.

• Knowledge of applicable legislation.

• Knowledge of shipping operations.

• Good command of English.

• Ability to analyse processes and select the most appropriate working methods.
