About the Role In this role you are responsible for ensuring technical plant and process safety as well as occupational safety at Roche Diagnostics GmbH, with a clear focus on functional safety and creating safe working environments. What You'll Do
- Conduct specialist safety assessments and risk analyses, focusing on functional safety (SIL-Graph) and evaluation of systems with potentially lethal gas hazards (K16 standard).
- Align and implement safety requirements to strengthen regulatory compliance for all stakeholders in the function.
- Serve as a competent point of contact to review safety concepts and advise the organization on implementing complex technical requirements.
- Investigate occupational injuries or incidents involving media releases, perform root cause analyses, and derive preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Business Units to develop sustainable solutions and actively support them through to successful implementation at the sites. What We're Looking For
- Expertise in safety assessments and risk analysis, particularly functional safety (SIL-Graph) and K16 standard evaluation of gas hazard systems.
- Experience in implementing safety requirements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strong advisory skills and ability to review concepts and guide technical implementations.
- Investigative skills for incident analysis and preventive measures.
- Team-oriented with strong cross-site collaboration.
