Job title: Expert Electrical Engineer
About the Role Join Logitech's Personal Work Space (PWS) team in China as an Expert Electrical Engineer and System Engineer. You will explore hardware technologies, evaluate new concepts, deliver new techno bricks, and drive the EE technical roadmap for China, collaborating with marketing, innovation, design, architects, extended engineering, and program management to bring new tech to products. Based in Suzhou and reporting to the EE leader of China.
What You'll Do
- Explore hardware technologies and evaluate new concepts; perform engineering evaluation and assessment of new conception
- Identify and evaluate new technologies; develop a technology roadmap to improve products
- Understand potential demand for new technologies in China; gather requirements with Business Groups
- Develop techno bricks for new products; document capabilities with synthesize proposals
- Collaborate with Chinese partners and suppliers to develop and commercialize new technologies
- Apply system engineering skills and partner with cross-functional teams, especially Embedded Software, connectivity, and Mechanical Engineering
- Engage with colleagues in a multi-site and multicultural environment; based in Suzhou, report to the EE leader of China
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with EE design
- System engineering thinking and ability to think at the system level
- Curious and proactive in exploring new technology
- Capability to synthesize and propose
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
