DTCP Defence invests in mission-critical technologies that strengthen European sovereignty, security and strategic resilience, with a focus on areas including secure communications, cyber defence, AI, autonomous systems, space technologies and critical digital infrastructure.

As an AI & Data Engineer, you will turn agentic AI, automation, and data into practical solutions on DTCP’s existing platforms, helping our investment and corporate teams streamline processes and reduce manual work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• AI Use-Case Design: Identify and prioritise AI and automation use cases. Translate business requirements into workflows, agent roles, and review processes
• AI Implementation: Configure AI agents on approved platforms and integrate them with existing systems and data sources
• Data Management: Set up and maintain the company’s data. Develop data models and ensure data quality for reporting and AI applications
• Quality & Improvement: Test, monitor, and continuously improve AI solutions to ensure reliability
• Training & Adoption: Train colleagues on AI solutions and support their rollout. Maintain user guidance and documentation

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential Attributes:

• Practical experience in AI implementation, data engineering, automation, or a comparable technical role
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and integrating systems through APIs
• Understanding of data management, data modelling, and data quality principles
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics in a clear and approachable manner
• Structured, reliable, detail-oriented, and analytical working style
• Proactive mindset, sound organisational skills, and a willingness to learn
• Professional proficiency in English. German would be an advantage

Preferred Attributes:**

• Knowledge of workflow automation tools and low-code/no-code platforms
• Understanding of AI governance, data protection, and information security principles
• Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of new technologies within an organisation
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
