Position Summary

As a DC Test Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor (Taylor site), the candidate will be working with state-of-the-art technologies and devices. He/She will be responsible for providing critical feedback to the fab based on DC test results. The candidate will be expected to maintain the highest level of accuracy in test results through program troubleshooting, equipment troubleshooting, device characterization, and benchmarking with Samsung Korea.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Optimize test environment programs for DC testers.
• Ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
• Support special testing request from Samsung Korea or internal T1 YE.
• Support tool installation and qualifications.
• Help troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Help sustain floor operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of test structures and test methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and modify code on various platforms including Basic, PERL, and UNIX.
• Experience in a wafer probe manufacturing environment is recommended (Keysight ATE and TEL prober knowledge is a plus).
• Integrity, good teamwork skills, good communication skills, flexibility, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency on the job are required.

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
