Job Description
- Manage the hotel's accounting operations, financial reporting and controls to ensure accurate records and timely management information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, budgets and cash-flow forecasts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, guest ledgers, supplier accounts and daily revenue from rooms, food, beverages and other hotel services.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivables, payroll accounting and month-end closing.
- Monitor operating costs, inventory values and departmental budget variances.
- Coordinate tax and statutory remittances, support external audits and maintain complete supporting documentation.
- Strengthen internal controls and supervise junior accounting staff.
Requirements

BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in a hotel or hospitality business.

ICAN or ACCA qualification is an advantage.

Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and hotel property management or point-of-sale systems.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
