Job Description

Position Title: Expeditor

Pay Rate: 24.18/Hour Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Physical

The Job You Will Perform: Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times. Accurately weigh waste bales and record bale weights on bale tallies. Load waste bales into rail cars. Feed waste into the shredder/hogger and hog all facility waste. Obtain waste loads from production areas as directed. Load seconds and other non-shredded waste into trucks for shipment. Work with returned goods and salvage materials for protection sheets and other uses. Receive materials and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized baler room, sweeping the floors and blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior daily. Clean the baler daily, including the overflow box, the box behind the chute and the area in front of it, the twister/inserter box, the radiator, and the area behind the ram (following safe practices). Notify maintenance of baler problems as they arise. Oil the baler twister and inserter chains monthly and change the divertor overflow box filters every three months. Perform other duties as directed by management. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring: A high school diploma (or GED) is required. One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required. Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.
