About the Role After a six-month training period at a German site, you’ll relocate to Craiova, Romania as an expatriate to set up inventory control and storage management for the warehouse in a startup environment.
You will oversee urgent goods receipt (materials and purchased parts) physically and in SAP booking, and convert planned orders into necessary orders from suppliers.
You’ll also manage and correct bookings of inventories, clarify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. What You'll Do
- Set up inventory control and storage management for the Craiova warehouse after relocation.
- Control urgent goods receipt physically and in SAP.
- Convert planned orders into supplier orders.
- Manage and correct inventory bookings, address discrepancies, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Manage on-time and on-quality deliveries of purchased items/materials: manage postponements, coordinate critical delivery situations, process quality notifications, and communicate with internal interfaces to ensure material supply.
- Manage recovery activities for urgent/late buy parts and expedite to production. What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification with a focus on materials management or logistics.
- Several years of practical experience in logistics or disposition with advanced SAP skills.
- Aviation industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to relocate to Craiova, Romania and commitment to Diehl's internationalization strategy including hands-on competence and flexibility.
- Passion and engagement for intercultural collaboration and a good level of written and spoken English. Nice to Have
