About this role

Executive Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-calibre, polished and highly discreet Executive Personal Assistant to work directly with the Managing Director of a growing film production company. This is a high-trust, executive-facing position for someone who understands how to operate around senior executives, high-profile personalities and fast-paced creative environments. The successful candidate will become an important part of the MD's daily operations — managing schedules, coordinating engagements, following up on priorities and ensuring that the MD's professional and personal commitments are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate is more than an administrator. She must be organised, emotionally intelligent, resourceful and confident enough to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and represent the MD professionally when interacting with clients, production teams, business partners and other stakeholders. Previous experience supporting a high-profile executive, business owner, celebrity, public figure or senior professional will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Executive & Schedule Management

  • Create and manage the MD's calendar, appointments, meetings and daily itinerary.

  • Coordinate professional engagements, events, shoots, and other commitments.

  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them.

  • Ensure the MD is adequately prepared for meetings, events, and engagements.

  • Track important deadlines, commitments, and follow-ups.

  • Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact between the MD and selected internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate communication with clients, production teams, vendors, business associates and other relevant parties.

  • Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure matters requiring the MD's attention are properly escalated.

  • Attend selected meetings, events and engagements with the MD when required.

  • Production & Business Support

  • Support the MD during film production activities, shoots, meetings and industry engagements.

  • Assist with travel, transportation, accommodation and itinerary arrangements.

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events and other engagements.

  • Assist with research, documentation, presentations and other executive assignments.

  • Personal Assistance

  • Handle occasional personal errands and private assignments entrusted by the MD.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the MD's personal affairs, business activities and company information.

  • Ensure sensitive documents, conversations and information are handled appropriately.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary or similar role.

  • Demonstrable experience working closely with a high-profile person, executive, business owner, celebrity, public figure or senior professional is highly preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and digital communication platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required by the MD's schedule or production activities.

  • Female candidates are preferred.

  • Immediate resumption is required.

  • Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Polished, confident and professional.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and capable of anticipating needs rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior executives and high-profile individuals.
  • Discreet and trustworthy with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
  • Emotionally intelligent and able to handle demanding situations calmly.
  • Excellent at communication, follow-up and relationship management.
  • Flexible and available to accommodate a dynamic executive and production schedule.
  • Presentable and able to represent the MD professionally in different environments.

Remuneration

Opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and gain experience in executive coordination, business operations, and film production. A role with significant responsibility, visibility, and professional exposure.
