Position Overview

The Director of Strategic Partnerships is a limited-time advisory and engagement role, generally requiring only a few hours per week, with somewhat more concentrated activity around major initiatives, particularly the annual Sustainability 2.0 Conference.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working closely with the Co-Directors, and with full administrative and graduate-assistant support, the Director will:

  • Sustainability 2.0 Conference: Lead corporate sponsorship and partner engagement and help shape conference content and programming. The next conference will be held in October 2027.

  • S-Lab Advisory Board: Serve as a key point of contact with Advisory Board members and help maintain strong engagement with S-Lab initiatives.

Carbon Markets Hub: Work with the Co-Director and a graduate assistant on development and external engagement for the S-Lab’s Carbon Markets Hub. The role is intentionally structured to remain manageable alongside other professional commitments: a few hours in a typical week, with additional time concentrated around the conference and other major S-Lab initiatives.
