Executive Director of Finance

About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is recruiting an Executive Director of Finance to direct the operational, financial, administrative and strategic activities for the College of Medicine (COM) and UC Physicians, Inc. (UCP). The role reports to the COM Dean’s Office and UCP leadership and serves as a resource for department business leaders on compensation and budgeting. What You'll Do

• Manage the financial, administrative, and operational activities of defined projects for the COM and UCP as assigned by Operations and Finance leadership.
• Direct dually compensated provider compensation for the COM and UCP, including updating annual compensation addendums and obtaining necessary approvals; managing the COM/UCP Compensation Tool to ensure department assumptions follow published addendums; developing UCP payroll calculation tools to support addendums; reviewing and approving annual salary increases for dually compensated COM/UCP providers; reviewing and approving monthly UCP variable calculations for dually compensated providers; ensuring monthly compensation is fully automated and balanced to source reports.
• Oversee budget and monthly variance reporting for the COM, UCP and the Physician Network at UC Health (UC Health).
• Oversee UCP reporting of clinical volumes and key metrics, serving as a key liaison with UC Health. What We're Looking For
• Experience in financial management and operations leadership within healthcare/academic medical settings.
• Experience with compensation management for dually compensated providers, payroll calculations, and updating compensation addendums.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, variance analysis, and reporting for the COM, UCP, and UC Health.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with College leadership and external stakeholders; ability to liaison with UC Health.
• Knowledge of compensation policies, budgeting, governance, and regulatory considerations.
