A beautiful upscale restaurant is looking for their new Executive Chef! Leader must value genuine care and support for their people and lead with integrity and ethics!
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day!
Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of current experience being a titled Executive Chef
- Current experience with a full-service and upscale/fine dining brick and mortar restaurant
- Experience with scratch kitchens and sourcing from local vendors, gardens and farms
- Experience developing menus and costing recipes
- Full knowledge of food & labor cost control and inventory practices
- Experience with training and mentoring a kitchen team
- Experience planning and executing private dining events and special functions
- Strong understanding and passion for food safety and sanitation
Executive Chef Soft Skills Requirements:
- Professional demeanor with excellent leadership capabilities
- Servant and hands-on leadership style
- Creativity, adaptability and willingness to collaborate with restaurant leadership
- Ability to lead a busy kitchen while maintaining attention to detail and consistency
Executive Chef Preferred Background and Skills:
- Experience working for an independent restaurant
- Experience with Toast POS
