About the Role
- We are looking for a smart, organised and highly resourceful Executive Assistant to the Founder who can provide strong day-to-day support while also helping with communications, content and the execution of ideas.
- This role is ideal for someone who is naturally organised, writes very well, understands social media and is good at turning conversations and ideas into clear action.
- You will work closely with the Founder across business administration, communications, content and special projects.
- We are not looking for someone who needs to be told every little thing to do. We want someone who can listen, understand the objective, organise the moving parts and confidently run with an assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support:
- Manage the Founder's schedule, meetings, appointments and reminders.
- Help organise priorities and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Prepare meeting notes, action points and follow-up correspondence.
- Draft professional emails, letters, proposals, presentations and other business documents.
- Conduct research and compile information when required.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, influencers, team members and other external parties on behalf of the Founder.
- Follow up on delegated tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with planning meetings, events, launches and special projects.
- Maintain discretion when handling confidential business and personal information.
Content & Communications:
- Assist the Founder with planning and organising content for Mwanga Africa and, where required, the Founder's personal brand.
- Turn the Founder's ideas, voice notes and conversations into organised content ideas, briefs and written communication.
- Draft captions, scripts, talking points and simple copy.
- Help coordinate photoshoots, video shoots, influencers and other content collaborations.
- Maintain a simple content calendar and ensure planned content actually gets executed.
- Capture simple behind-the-scenes and lifestyle/business content when required.
- Work with photographers, videographers, designers and other creatives where necessary.
- Understand the tone and personality of the brand and help ensure communication remains consistent.
Project Coordination:

Take ownership of assigned projects from beginning to completion

Break ideas into clear tasks, timelines and deliverables.

Coordinate with relevant team members and external partners.

Follow up consistently without requiring the Founder to chase every detail.

Identify potential problems early and suggest practical solutions.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Project Coordinator, Communications Executive, Content Executive or similar role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and other relevant social platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or similar content tools is an advantage.
- Excellent English and professional writing skills.
- Strong research and presentation skills.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
