Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: CEO

Role Overview

  • MykroGrid Limited is seeking a highly intelligent, proactive, and strategically minded Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director in driving business priorities, coordinating executive activities, and ensuring effective decision-making and execution.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a CEO mindset—someone who thinks ahead, exercises sound judgment, takes ownership, and operates with discretion, efficiency, and a strong understanding of business priorities. The MD is based in the United States, so flexibility to work across time zones is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD’s calendar, meetings, correspondence, travel arrangements, and executive priorities.
  • Prepare briefing notes, reports, presentations, and business documents.
  • Track strategic initiatives, follow up on action items, and ensure timely execution of decisions.
  • Coordinate communication between the MD, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, analyse information, and provide insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Anticipate the MD’s needs, identify potential challenges, and proactively recommend solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience supporting senior executives or working in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Must be based in Lagos, Nigeria, and willing to work flexible hours aligned with the MD’s US time zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or postgraduate qualification, preferably from Lagos Business School.
  • Experience in strategy, business operations, project coordination, or executive management.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, exercise initiative, and operate with an ownership mentality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • We are looking for a sharp, ambitious, resourceful, and highly professional individual who combines executive presence with strong execution skills. The successful candidate should be forward-thinking, commercially aware, solutions-oriented, and capable of anticipating needs rather than simply responding to instructions.
  • This role is ideal for someone who aspires to grow into strategic leadership and understands that supporting an MD requires the mindset of a business partner, not just an administrator.

Application Closing Date
