The Office of the CEO operates at the center of Prudential's strategy, governance, and enterprise decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to senior leadership, enterprise priorities, and Board-related activities while playing a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of the CEO and the broader Office of the CEO. Successful candidates will gain unique visibility into how enterprise decisions are made and how senior leaders collaborate to drive Prudential forward

The Executive Assistant will help drive seamless execution by managing complex administrative, operational, and coordination responsibilities while handling highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgement. Working closely with the broader Office of the CEO, including executive support colleagues and senior leadership partners, this individual will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of the Chairman & CEO's office.

This role directly supports the Chairman and CEO, Andy Sullivan, and works closely with the broader Office of the CEO.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

The Office of the Chairman & CEO operates with enhanced in-person expectations aligned to the needs of executive leadership and enterprise priorities. This role requires a high degree of responsiveness, flexibility, and availability, including support outside of standard business hours. While most of responsibilities are performed during regular nosiness hours, occasional support outside of standard hours may be required to accommodate business needs, executive travel or global engagements. The individual is expected to adapt to the Chairman & CEO's schedule, when necessary, to ensure seamless support of CEO Office activities and business needs.

What you can expect:

  • Coordinate complex calendars across multiple executives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and changing business needs.
  • Manage extensive domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, expense reporting, and logistical support.
  • Support the planning and execution of CEO leadership meetings and offsites, enterprise events, Board related activities, and special projects.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing the Office of the CEO with professionalism, discretion, and credibility.
  • Partner closely with functional and business groups across the enterprise.
  • Anticipate issues, proactively identify solutions, and drive follow-through on critical initiatives and deliverables.
  • Serve as a tech-forward partner who continuously seeks opportunities to improve operating effectiveness of the Office of the Chairman & CEO through automation, AI, and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow executive assistants, the Chief of Staff, and business partners across the enterprise to support the operating rhythm of the Office of the Chairman & CEO.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated success operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and professionalism. Experience supporting senior executives, preferably within a large, complex organization, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of an organization while working effectively across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $96,200.00 to $158,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
