Execution Coordinator

At INVISTA's Victoria, Texas facility, we are seeking an Execution Coordinator to support the planning and execution of small capital projects and maintenance-related work. In this role, you will coordinate contractors, site craft, and project resources to safely execute work while meeting schedule, cost, and business objectives. You will play a key role in removing execution barriers, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring work is completed in compliance with site safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), and environmental requirements.

Our Team

You will join the Team-Based Projects organization, a group focused on executing smaller-scale, lower-complexity projects that help improve reliability, support operations, and create value for the business. The team partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and contractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently while supporting the long-term success of the Victoria site.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead field execution activities for small capital and maintenance projects utilizing site craft and contractors.
  • Coordinate contractor bidding, selection, and mobilization activities to support project execution.
  • Provide oversight of contractor safety performance and compliance with site requirements.
  • Direct and coordinate site craft and contract resources to safely and efficiently execute work.
  • Identify and remove execution barriers that impact project cost, schedule, or resource utilization.
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, costs, and execution priorities to safely deliver projects and maximize value.
  • Provide accountability and oversight of site craft and contractors while executing small projects.
  • Review and approve contractor Track entries and invoices.
  • Ensure efficient work execution by identifying and eliminating barriers.
  • Coordinate rental needs, including equipment and secondary containment.
  • Optimize and reduce overall site costs by incorporating site craft into the project work process.
  • Lead turnkey contractor projects as the project manager.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, and costs while identifying opportunities to improve execution efficiency and create value.
  • Serve as the communication link between senior leadership and field personnel on project status, priorities, and needs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • 3 or more years’ experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, chemical, refining, or similar plant environment.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance activities, project execution, or field work.
  • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise work management systems.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and work activities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Experience collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders to execute work.
  • Experience communicating project priorities, execution status, and resource needs with both field personnel and leadership.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • 5 or more years of experience coordinating contractors, maintenance activities, project execution, or field work in an industry-related environment.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or work management processes.
  • Knowledge of maintenance, reliability, and project execution practices.
  • Experience creating and managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP and Ariba.
  • Experience utilizing contractor management systems such as Track and ISNetworld.
  • Experience leading craft personnel, contractors, or cross-functional execution teams.
  • Experience reviewing contractor scopes of work, bids, or service agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, operations, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience performing Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
