Job Summary
- The Excavator Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavators for excavation, loading, material handling, earthmoving, and related operational activities.
- The role ensures equipment is operated safely and productively in accordance with established safety and operational standards.
Job Description
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently for digging, excavation, loading, trenching, and material handling activities.
- Carry out assigned earthmoving and excavation activities in line with operational requirements.
- Conduct routine pre-start and post-operation inspections of the equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and promptly report faults, defects, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper positioning and safe operation of equipment within designated work areas.
- Maintain awareness of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and potential hazards within the operating environment.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment.
