About the Role
Operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket to perform excavation tasks including ditches, structures and mass excavations, as well as laying pipe and precast concrete structures and loading trucks with rock riprap. May be equipped with various hydraulic attachments to support project needs. What You'll Do

Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.

Signal truck drivers to position trucks for loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.

Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.

May oil, grease, or service the machine and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed. What We're Looking For

Education and Experience: Less than a High School Diploma and related construction experience.

Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
