About the Role The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties in assigned area(s) following procedures and protocol, supporting Logan Health's mission, vision, and core values. This PRN on-site role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe environment and requires confidentiality, empathy, and effective communication. What You'll Do
- Prioritize job functions to maintain proper workflow.
- Identify needs and perform duties without specific direction.
- Exhibit working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s); maintain equipment and resources appropriately and safely.
- Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control relevant to assigned area(s).
- Follow confidentiality and safeguard all patient and/or customer information.
- Respond to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Perform job duties efficiently and per department procedure, protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations for assigned area(s).
- Stock assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the English language required.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions required.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population required.
- Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.
- Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
- Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Nice to Have
- Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.
- Knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred. Compensation & Benefits
