Event Sales Specialist

Splitsville is seeking an Event Sales Specialist at our Edmonton Northwest location. You will sell and plan exciting experiences for guests, helping to create lasting memories by offering event space, food and beverage, bowling, arcade and amusement packages. The role supports ongoing training and development with opportunities to fast track your career, and access to in-house management training programs. The position is part-time with a salary range of $17-$20 per hour.

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships on behalf of Splitsville Entertainment with new and existing guests.
• Effectively sell meeting spaces, party rooms, food and beverage packages, and entertainment packages; meet quarterly and yearly sales goals.
• Work with the Event Sales Manager to prospect new events and target new leads where possible; reach out to past clients for future bookings.
• Arrange and confirm all event details with the client prior to the event; communicate information to all team members.
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure all events run smoothly; connect with the client during the event to offer help if needed.
• Follow up after each event with the client to obtain feedback, maintain rapport and suggest future bookings with Splitsville.
• Meet with the Events Sales Manager, General Manager and the Splitsville Sales Team weekly to discuss weekly plans and targets.
• Maintain daily use of our in-house database to input all leads, track and follow up on inquiries and communications with clients; track marketing and promotional materials where necessary.
• Update and maintain content on our social media sites regularly within corporate standards and guidelines.
• Attend and facilitate offsite promotional events within the community to raise brand awareness and generate leads for future bookings.
• Provide an excellent experience for all clients and their guests, creating an atmosphere of positivity and fun. This is a guest-facing role requiring enthusiasm and helpfulness at all times.
