Job title: Event Promoter
About the Role The Event Promoter represents the Renewal by Andersen brand at consumer events within a designated territory, engaging attendees with face-to-face interaction and product demonstrations. This role focuses on generating sales leads and meeting event-based performance goals through non-traditional marketing methods. You’ll transport and set up lightweight display equipment and collateral, and submit leads at the end of each shift.
What You'll Do
- Attend consumer-facing shows including home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events.
- Interact with attendees to provide informative product demonstrations and generate sales leads.
- Overcome objections using proven sales techniques and training resources.
- Transport, assemble and disassemble lightweight display equipment and marketing collateral.
- Submit sales leads at the end of each shift.
- Meet predetermined performance goals and KPIs for each event.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to actively listen, rebut objections, and answer questions regarding product performance or quality.
- Must have a smart phone to use timekeeping application and submit leads.
- Access to reliable transportation for every scheduled shift.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Outgoing, friendly, and energetic personality.
- Ability to engage attendees, obtain their interest, and present quick product demonstrations.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment with a roll up your sleeves mentality.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, able to communicate with prospects in an articulate and professional manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively, recognize and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels.
- Self-driven, responsible, and motivated to accomplish business goals and adhere to policies.
