Event Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage client enquiries, bookings, and event schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee the successful planning and execution of events and corporate activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase patronage, revenue, and customer retention.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and service providers.
• Supervise staff and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Oversee event logistics, resource allocation, and service delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
• Monitor performance, prepare operational reports, and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and business performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in event management, facility management, hospitality operations, or a similar role is strongly required.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales, attract clients, and build strong customer relationships.
• Experience supervising teams, coordinating operations, and managing service delivery.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, schedules, and operational resources will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Event Management is an added advantage.

• First Aid and CPR certification.

• Experience within gyms, fitness centres, wellness clubs, or sports facilities.

• Knowledge of sponsorship acquisition and partnership development.
