About this role
European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology (Small Animals)
AniCura Malpertuus – Destelbergen, Belgium
AniCura Malpertuus in Destelbergen is a well-established referral and primary care veterinary hospital offering a broad range of services, from routine health checks to advanced diagnostic imaging, specialised consultations and highly complex surgical procedures. In addition to first-opinion care, we provide extensive second-line referral services supported by modern infrastructure and a multidisciplinary team.
To support our continued growth and to further expand our specialist services, we are looking to strengthen our enthusiastic team with a motivated European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology, with a focus on small animals.
Your profile
- You are a European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology, residency-trained and accredited by a recognised European College.

- You are able to perform neurosurgical procedures independently. Additionally, you can rely on the support of three experienced veterinarians who routinely perform standard neurological surgeries if needed.
- You organise and deliver continuing education courses for referring and first-opinion veterinarians.
- You actively contribute to the further development of the neurology department at Malpertuus and play a key role in the continued expansion of our referral care services.
