EU Investments Lead

About the Role Join Wise as the EU Investments Lead to drive the global expansion of the Assets product from the London office. You’ll own regulatory navigation, form strategic partnerships, and shape the commercial strategy to deliver an investment and savings product experience for customers worldwide. What You'll Do

• Expand the Assets product to new international markets; lead end-to-end process of applying for regulatory licenses in new markets and analyze the optimal route to market considering customer needs, product functionality, and local regulatory landscapes.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with local custodians, brokers, and clearing partners; define the ideal operational and commercial processes with these partners.
• Work with our current global partners to expand our fund range into new currencies and jurisdictions.
• Bridge the gap between the central product and engineering teams and regional expansion leads in APAC and the Americas; translate global product ambitions into local reality and adjust to fit local requirements. What We're Looking For
• Extensive experience in investment management, fintech, expansion, with a track record of navigating complex regulatory environments.
• You get things done: a doer with a high bias for action and the ability to unblock projects autonomously in a high-growth environment.
• Regulatory expertise: a proven track record of drafting high-stakes regulatory submissions and license applications from scratch.
• Commercial mindset: understands financial products, how they work, as well as their risks and target markets; able to figure out the ideal operational and commercial process with new partners.
• Strong understanding of investment services regulation: comfortable navigating environments (e.g., FCA, CIRO, FINRA/SEC) and translating requirements into a clear strategy.
• Passion for Wise's mission: a desire to transform the financial industry for good.
• Willingness to travel internationally: around 10-20% of time.
