Job title: Estate Planning Paralegal - West Coast
About the Role The Estate Planning Paralegal will support a virtual estate planning process for West Coast clients, coordinating secure online meetings, onboarding clients into the NetLaw system, and drafting and supporting execution of estate planning documents. This role requires strong organization, confidentiality, and proactive communication as part of a remote, collaborative team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain database of clients, financial advisors, and legal team; monitor progress; log activity; provide updates; enter/update data.
- Communicate with financial advisors and clients to ensure proper engagement and completion of required tasks.
- Orchestrate and maintain a synchronized calendar for virtual meetings involving clients, attorneys, and financial advisors.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries through online support functions (chat, email, and video meetings).
- Provide technical guidance to users on NetLaw system, video conferencing tools, and other technology.
- Assist Attorneys with client support needs such as document drafting, preparing final documents, client follow-up communications, etc.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- Assist in the oversight and training of legal assistants for the virtual practice.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Estate Planning and drafting Estate Planning documents.
- Prior experience with case and/or project management, including the ability to coordinate multiple calendars.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom; basic proficiency in learning new technology systems.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
