Overview: The Intelligence and Analytics Specialist / Supervisor at GNP in Mexico leads the identification of atypical behavior patterns in claims and contracting processes across lines of business. Using predictive models and analytics tools, this role supports the implementation of mechanisms to identify and contain potential malpractices, contributing to stronger prevention and risk management within the insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy analytics tools and data pipelines using BigQuery to detect atypical behavior, and create dashboards that visualize these patterns for effective monitoring (60%).
- Manage and calibrate business rules through monitoring dashboards, ensuring optimal performance to sustain or improve the effectiveness of detecting improper practices (20%).
- Monitor internal prevention systems at the insurance sector level, identify current needs and gaps, and help strengthen the overall prevention strategy (20%).
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or Engineering) completed in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, or Systems Engineering.
- Basic English proficiency (level sufficient for functional communication, approximately 50%).
- Technical knowledge and certifications in: SQL and Python (desirable), applied probability and statistics, and Business Intelligence (desirable).
- Experience in the insurance sector, with familiarity in Looker Studio at a basic level, data mining (desirable), and project management.
- Roles suitable for Analysts or Specialists with strengths in statistics and risk or internal control domains.
