About the Role
The ERP Installation Engineer will perform ERP software installation, data migration and upgrade services for Tyler clients transitioning from OnPremise to AWS Cloud through defined project scopes. The role includes configuring application, database, and web servers, delivering technical overviews to clients, and documenting results for internal staff. It involves some travel (0-5%) and occasional Saturday coverage, and requires delivering high-quality installation services to large and complex environments while resolving complex technical issues.
What You'll Do

Perform ERP software installation, data migration and upgrades from OnPremise to AWS Cloud for Tyler clients on scheduled projects.

Configure application, database, and web servers with Tyler and 3rd party software.

Provide technical overviews to clients regarding server configurations and software installation procedures.

Document results of service work performed for use by internal staff.

Travel 0-5% for team engagements or client user groups; Saturday coverage up to once a month as needed.

Install, configure and test all components to the expected revisions and performance standards.

Provide high-level installation planning and consulting for existing clients.

Assist training staff on installation procedures and processes.

Assist the Installation Analyst with developing consistent installation standards.

Provide high quality installation services to large and complex clients.

Work through complex technical issues with customers.

Manage and prioritize multiple and often conflicting tasks while working independently.

Become a trusted client resource by providing service that demonstrates product knowledge and strong work ethic.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

BS/BA in MIS, IT, Computer Science or Computer Engineering related degrees or equivalent experience.

Experience administering and/or installing applications on Microsoft Windows Server.

Experience administering and/or installing Microsoft SQL Server.

A minimum of 18 months of relevant experience installing and configuring Tyler solutions.

Demonstrated proficiency with installing and upgrading Tyler applications.

Strong knowledge of web servers (IIS, Apache) and SSL.

Basic knowledge of server hardware and network configurations.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to self-manage projects and prioritize work.

Ability to communicate effectively with highly technical and non-technical individuals.

Must be able to contribute and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Ability to evaluate the severity of an issue and determine if management intervention is necessary to address a serious problem in a timely manner.

Compensation & Benefits
-
Salary will generally fall between $46,185 - $67,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
